Hardwood flooring comes in 4 common types of construction: 3/4" solid strips engineered planks longstrip planks interlocking planks  Engineered and longstrip wood planks can be installed anywhere in the home (including dry basements) and can be glued-down, stapled, or floated over many types of subfloors. The 3/4" solid hardwood strip floors are nailed-down to wood subfloors and are not recommended on concrete slabs. We carry all the finest pre-finished hardwood floors for any room in your home.
